Hey, I’m Kannaya (Ashley) and this is my summarized story. I was born in Wisconsin and later moved to Illinois where my brother Adam was born. My brother and I soon found the world of videogaming. We spent hours playing Mario Bros. and Bubble Bobble. We later moved to Brookings, South Dakota where we went from 1st grade to graduate High School. I discovered my love for anime with my friend Jamae, who introduced me to Gundam Wing and Inuyasha. My parents have always been supportive of my brother’s and my creative interests. My Mom has recently gotten into gaming by playing Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and Wii Sports. My Dad has always played games with us. He really likes the racing games. My parents and brother now live in Wisconsin so I get to see them a lot more.

I live in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota and share my home with my boyfriend Cole. Our cat Koopa and bearded dragon Maceo run the house. Cole and I collect many types of vinyl figures: Dunny’s, Qee’s, Anime Figures, and Star Wars characters. We believe Aquaman is one of the best under-rated super heroes ever and Batman is amazing. Top Cow comics: Witchblade, The Darkenss, & Freshman have been taking up a lot of my reading time. Recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS in graphic design, I am doing freelance design and looking for more work. Crafting Rules!

Anime seems to always be the thing I come back to and can never get enough. So, Kannaya is here to help everyone find an anime that rocks their world!
