I’m Melissa Kay and was born and raised in Texas. I attended the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in design and studio art, and a minor in playwriting and business. I love to read, draw, game, write, paint, dance, make music, and eat sandwiches.

I grew up influenced by David Bowie’s tight grey Labyrinthine pants, Catwoman’s leather whip, Bunnicula, the greatness that is Buffy Summers, Tomb Raider, Trent Reznor’s ingenious industrial angsts, and living in a house decked in Andy Warhol prints and cultural contradictions. I am pocket sized and will p0wn you at air hockey.
