As gaming becomes more of a entertainment industry, the population of “gamers” grows every day. There are many types of gamers, but the “Jaded Gamer” is either your worst enemy or your best friend. Read the following characterisics of this special type of gamer, and see if you make the cut.

1.) You have every console ever made but don’t touch them… they’re lame and outdated. You just want your forum community to be impressed by your gaming rig.

2.) Speaking of gaming rig, it doesn’t matter what your gaming buddies have as a set up… yours is way better. Only because your MOM didn’t buy it for you.

3.) You specialize in the “tea-bag” and use it frequently.

4.) World of Warcraft is old news, and youre too cool to play it any more… but you still pay the 14.99 a month for the subscription.

5.) Fanboys are the bane of your existence.

6.) You want to stab people who still say, “BOOM! Headshot!”

7.) Your PC can play any game on the market on high/very high settings, but you won’t let anyone else play on it. They suck too much.

8.) You think youre better then all those pro gamers out there, but won’t enter a tournament. They’re just a waste of time.

9.) Guitar Hero? That’s not even a real game.

10.) You won’t let the word “pwn” be used around you. The word “rape” is much more acceptable.

11.) You measure how awesome someone is by thier Xbox 360 Gamerscore. Anyone under five-figures doesn’t belong on your friends list.

12.) It doesn’t matter how good a game is, it will never meet your expectations.

13.) You learn to mod maps, which puts you at “elete gamer status”

14.) If it doesn’t have multiplayer, you won’t play it.

15.) You quit collecting game t-shirts

16.) You can explain, in detail, why the aftermarket controlers are inferior to the real ones.

17.) You talk as much crap as possible.

18.) You got beat by a 12 year old at one of your favorite games, so you never play it again.

19.) You have day dreams that involve Luigi and a chainsaw.

20.) You know most game programming languages. Fluently.

21.) You can retell the history of the Turn-Based Role Playing Game with amazing detail.

22.) The more commercials, the less you like the game.

23.) You hate all Final Fantasy games.

24.) You quit going to your favorite gaming website because, “all those little kid’s don’t know what they’re talking about.”

25.) You’re convinced that spawn killing means you’re a better player.

26.) You can’t remember the last time you played a game and didn’t think it sucked.

27.) You think the ESRB rating scale is a massive waste of time.

28.) Dogging on games you have never even played is one of your specialities.

29.) You can slay anyone. Any day. While smoking a cigarette.

30.) You’re pretty sure that if you wanted to, you could quit complaining about stuff… but it’s not that time yet.
