So apparently publishers didn’t learn from Street Fighter The Movie the game and rumor has it that Dragon Ball Evolution will given the video game treatment. GameFly shows a listing of a PSP fighting game titled Dragon Ball Z: Evolution with a release date of 4/09/09. The movie is due for release just one day after on April 10th. Hmm…
It it interesting to watch the development of video games into the mainstream. I grabbed a Subway sandwich for lunch yesterday and noticed that included in the kids meal was a Dance Dance Revolution themed toy.
Here’s a first glimpse of Chun Li played by Kristen Kreuk in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li. The movie is due for release in February 2009 and will feature appearances by Street Fighter favorites Vega and Bison among others. Preview is via the official Japanese site.

The Street Fighter Collector’s edition will retail for $79.99 and will include a plethora of SF goodies. I’ve been attending the Final Fantasy XI Fan Festival since it’s first trip to the States in 2006. The Festival is the place to get a first look at new content, attend a Q&A with developers, and team up with other players from around the world to experience new jobs and areas. This year’s event took place at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood, CA to celebrate FFXI’s three new patches; A Shantotto Ascension, A Moogle Kupo d’Etat, and A Crystalline Prophecy.
