At Comic Con I was amazed at how many kids were there, not only that, but how many little girls recognized me as Supergirl and wanted their pictures with me. There were even little Supergirls there too and it was adorable! Once me and Jinxie were in a hurry to get somewhere so we were running down the convention hall in full costume trying to get to where we were going, we were stopped for photo ops and I felt a little tug on my cape. I turned around and there was this sweet little girl about 5 or 6 smiling up at me, and her out of breath dad says,”She just chased you down the hall wanting to get her picture with you!”. Wow. I felt so special!! It made me miss my little sisters back home.

Now there is a plugin that allows you to play NES games from your browser. It’s a really great idea, especially for those of you who get bored at work all day, and it’s actually not that buggy. I know other websites and emulators have tried to do this, but they are always so buggy and unreliable, but FireNES actually works great. With over 2000 titles to pick from, and a favorites list so you can keep track of the ones you enjoy the most, who wouldn’t want such a great add on to your browser!

It has been a rumor for quite sometime now that possibly we might see in the future some Beatles music appearing in Rock Band and/or Guitar Hero games. This rumor seems to be picking up speed and actually getting some truth behind it. Activision and MTV Games are in talks with Apple Corps (the company created by the Beatles to oversee all of their music and videos rights) to get these rock gods into their games.

With the new Metal Gear Solid 4 fast approaching, reviews and gaming media of all types are scrambling to get coverage of the new game. That is everyone but Electronic Gaming Monthly. Why? Because EGM has your best interests at heart. We already know how Ubisoft blacklisted EGM for their honest reviews of Assassins Creed, and now Konami is taking a lesson in the less than true reviews and asking reviewers not to mention certain aspects of the game. For me as a gamer, this fact it pretty scary.

Any reservations you may have about the new Silent Hill: the Homecoming can be pushed to the side. Sure, we are all still kinda burn after the terrible Silent Hill: The Room, but sometimes you just have to forgive and forget. These new screen shots made me do just that.
