Many of the games that are currently being released are anime-esque.  Even the story lines mimic Japanese cinema in the “anything goes” fashion!  What I mean by this is, a story can take you one way, then completely smack you in the face and take a sharp turn towards who knows where!?  However, I must ask, is Japanese art “invading” gaming, or was it inevitable?  I believe that it’s more predominant because of our (Americans) growing interest in that culture.  Of course we’re going to witness the so-called “invasion” of anime into gaming!

Here’s yet another pick from E for All… the NOVA mousepad.  I wanted to test this out before writing about it and I have to say, I’m impressed.  Gamers need special equipment in order to game adequately.  We can’t settle for any old accessory because if we do, our game suffers.  That’s why we go out of our way to get headphones with crystal sound, a mouse with even movement, etc.  Here’s yet another product made specifically for PC gamers that will help improve your reflexes!! Since E for All is new to the con circuit, this was my first time attending so I didn’t have any expectations.  It blew my mind!  This wasn’t the case for everyone, however.  Many thought that last years experience was top notch with bigger companies, more games, and better booths… at the same time, it was a complete flop!  This years E for All proved that it may have staying power.  True, the booths weren’t as epic… true, the smaller companies represented this year, but it was the people who made it what it was… FANTASTIC!
