New Tony Hawk: RIDE hawtness!

While you may be getting tired of guitar and drum peripherals, Activision has yet another unique toy for you to add to your collection. Personally, as long as it doesn’t have a strum bar or five rainbowtastic buttons I’m all for trying new things. I desperately want Tony Hawk: RIDE to be good (although THUG is still going to be hard to top), and if this new trailer is any indication, the skateboard controller may just have what it takes to deliver a fun, as-close-to-authentic-as-a-piece-of-plastic-can-get skating experience. Check it out, drop your thoughts, and come back for our review on or around the game’s November 17th release!

Prince of Persia movie trailer looks expensive

Uh oh, another video game-turned-Hollywood atrocity. But wait, what’s this? Jerry Bruckheimer? Disney?! THE ORIGINAL CREATOR?!!! This all seems so unfamiliar and, possibly, good. Don’t take my word for it though: Here’s a shiny new trailer for all you Prince-loving peeps. I’ll save the excitement for opening night as we all know if there’s anything Hollywood is good at, it’s crushing dreams and letting Tim Burton $#?! all over my childhood memories.

GEN’s Baby is All Growns Up!

Today marks yet another GEN girl’s day of birth. WITA has definitely earned her cake though, busting her @$$ on everything from Goozex Retro Reviews to exhaustive coverage of the Eisner Awards. She has done more work in the past month than I’ve done in my entire life, so if you see her at Comic-Con next week be sure to help me buy her a couple rounds of Pinkberry.

Happy birthday, Stephanie!
