Usually when taking a trip down to Anaheim, I find myself all day at Disneyland with a couple of friends trying to get on the Indiana Jones ride as much as possible. But Blizzcon was practically right next door, and being that Alexis Cruz, Gregory Michael and I are avid World of Warcraft players, we just HAD to go and catch what Blizzard was up to.
First off, for those who missed it … here is a really quick recap of the event put together by Blizzard/Direct TV:
The con was a blast! We three ended up watching most of the WOW tournament and taking in the rest of the con as much as possible.
Even though the famed Murloc plushy eluded us, we did manage to at least film one briefly. I hate those things in the game, but damn, I did want one!
As the plushy Murlocs flew of the shelves and onto ebay, we caught up with some cosplayers that rocked some game characters, and knew what they were talking about when it came down to the character they were cosplaying. You knew that a lot of hard work and love for the game went with each stitch.
We saw so many sites and sound during the 2 day long convention. Here is a gallery of some of the many things that blizzcon 2008 had to offer!
Greg and Alex also found a really cool gamer named Laura who chatted with us for a while about her gaming habits.
As the day rolled to an end, we gathered our goodie bags and started to the car, slowly mind you, discussing the days events and looking forward to the WOW Wrath of the Lich King when it launches on Nov. 13, 2008. What a great deal to look forward to! The pics and videos speak for themselves!

I’m still scared to start playing this… if I do, I can kiss my life goodbye… and you know the story Blkcat *hahaha*!!!
Maybe I’ll actually go next year and NOT be scared!
