Candy to Eat While Watching Anime

Were you that kid that wanted to visit Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory and fantasied about owning that delicious business some day? I know I was that kid and am still that adult. Saying this, eating candy and snacks while watching cartoons and anime is a must. Especially when that candy is as colorful and crazy as the show you are watching. Below are imported mouth fulls of bliss and creativity that most people are sure to indulge in.

*Note: Some of these are not in English, so bare with me on not getting all the names perfect.

Kabaya’s Chocolate Puddings: They are similar to mini flans with a gooey center. Cute and delicious.

Every Burger: Two vanilla cookies on the outside of a milk chocolate patty, topped with a white chocolate cheese. Completed with tiny real sesame seeds. Simply Amazing! (I couldn’t wait to open this package)

Meiji’s Cola Up: Gummy shaped bottles with that Cola taste we have all come to love. Juicy!

Glica’s Giant Caplico: Freeze dried strawberry ice cream in a sugar cone. Chocolate ice cream waits in the middle. Interestingly delicious.

Kasugai’s Fruit Gummies: REAL fruit juice is the main ingredient in these chewy morsels. Flavors include; orange, apple, grape, pineapple, muscat, and melon. Best Gummies Ever!

Fujiya’s Candy Crayons: Chocolate bars shaped as crayons and a fun little girl pin. The Japanese can add toys to anything and I love them for that. Tasty chocolate is tasty!

I am a huge fan of asain candy. But there was one thing I noticed about this list and I have to add it.

    Where’s the pocky?!?!

Choco Pocky! Milk Pocky! Strawberry Pocky! Pocky G! I mean… it’s *my* essential anime grub. It’s also good for gaming food because its easy to eat and wont get crumbs or goo stuck under the “B” button.

I also LOOOVE Botan Rice Candy… because you can eat the wrapper and don’t have to take your eyes away from the subtitles and wont miss anything important.

    Mm pocky.

The first 2 and candy crayons all sound good too. I’ve had the gummy cola flavored stuff - it’s ok, I prefer the rootbeer flavored ones but they’re like impossible to find when I look :(

I wanted to do ones that were not as well known. I figured pocky was similar the silent ‘K’ in the word knight: You know it is there but you don’t have to give it credit. :)
