No, we’re not talking about stealing Rorschach’s mask … though that’s cool, too.
I’m sure you—my comic-loving friends—are just as psyched about Zack Snyder’s upcoming Watchmen film as I am. And, of course, just as ready to pick up the torches and gang up on Fox if they cause the release date to shift. All court, unfriendly copyright, and idiocy matters aside, I’ve already been hunting for my fan outfit to wear to the movie.
Geeky? Oh, yeah. But hey, I did the same thing the day The Dark Knight came out in theaters.
Unfortunately, I’m having a hard time finding any good Watchmen swag! Now, I’m sure they’ll have plenty of cool Watchmen apparel ready closer to the release date, and I’ve seen a couple pieces before—but this is the best garb I’ve stumbled across so far. Presenting … one damn good lookin’ hoodie!
You can find this nifty black DC Watchmen Hoodie at Hot Topic for about $50. A little pricey for a zip-up hoodie, but you’ll be the envy of all your friends. Mine’s already ordered and on its way!
The hoodie has the Watchmen logo written vertically on the right side of the front, with the “Who Watches the Watchmen” tagline across the back. Available in stores or online.
On top of that, there’s even more comic book geek excitement clogging up the fan boards. Check out the new Japanese trailer for the movie. While there’s Japanese voiceovers and subtitles, there are lots of new scenes—and at least those are in English.

This is interesting: Thanks to my buddy Steve for pointing out the World Trade Center Towers in the background at 0:50.

Hmm, looks like I will have to stop by Hot Topic sometime this week and buy one for myself. Thanks for the heads up Steph.

Yeah, I am going to have to buy that. This is one case where simple is better. I love the vertical logotype!! Great find!
