This $4.99 issue is fully loaded with the conclusion of a Kingpin story, a Frank Miller reprint and other extras.
The issue brings to a close The Return of the King story arc. Matt Murdock has been teaming up with his archnemesis, Kingpin in an effort to overcome a shared enemy, the Hand ninja clan. Meanwhile, Murdock’s estranged wife Milla is in a catatonic state during which Murdock and her parents are fighting for custody of her. Lady Bullseye has proven herself to be one of the most wretched villains in comics history with her murdering ways.
As a milestone #500 issue, Marvel did include plenty of extras: Part 2 is an preview of Dark Reign: The List; Part 3 is called 3 Jacks written by Ann Nocenti with art by David Aja; Part 4 is a pin up gallery with art by some of the top people in comics like John Romita, Sr.; followed by Frank Miller’s Daredevil #191; and the beefy issue ends with a cover gallery. This issue wraps up the Brubaker/Lark run on the title.
