Norman Osborn’s list is so very different than Santa’s, boys and girls.
Getting a peak at Osborn’s task list is one frightening insight. Do you think he’s using Lotus Notes or Windows Tasks? Either way, the latest thing to make Osborn’s list of things that he needs to change is Cyclops’ creation of the Utopia island where mutants (especially the X-Men) can be safe from humans. Did Cyclops create a safe haven or trap his own kind conveniently for the government to imprison them?
Clint Barton’s rage against Osborn still has not been quelled by his teammates. He wants Norman’s head and he wants to end the dance once and for all. It’s the conundrum that comic book readers have dealt with since the beginning of the media. Fans have debated if there is a point where there is no rehabilitation and killing off the evil villain is the only way to make the world better. Clint wields the cliché, “If you could go back in time and kill Hitler, wouldn’t you?”
Also, I’m not one to say “DC made that joke first” but… Spidey’s quip about Clint needing Lexapro rings familiarity to when Superman told Batman he should be on super Prozac. Still funny as hell though. It’s doubtful this a critical issue for the Dark Reign arc but if you get it, you’ll enjoy it.
