Author Ed Brubaker takes a look at classic Marvel characters which have become legends of American pop culture.
Dr. Thomas Halloway’s conversations with a dying old man are full of sentiment and nostalgia. Halloway and the other characters of this series are Golden Age characters that Marvel is bringing into the spotlight as part of their 70 Year Anniversary which is officially being celebrated on August 11, 2009. Halloway was also known as The Angel and issue #1 of The Marvels Project will give a bit about his back story where he spent a lot of his childhood in the prison where his father worked. It turns out the dying man he’s treating also has a secret history of heroism. If you love revisiting the fundamentals of the adventurous comics from World War II, then The Marvels Project should be on your list.

I don’t know. Kinda sounds like Marvel is doing there own “Kingdom Come” story. Don’t know if I’m ready to relive that.
