WHOA!!! Dont get me wrong, all those comic books are the best in their own right. But you didn’t add the one storyline that was selling like pancakes.

    What happened to Secret Invasion?

  2. WITA WITA Says:

I don’t know about the other girls, but I didn’t suggest Secret Invasion because I’m waiting for the trade. Crazy big crossover, and I’ve heard very good things—and usually I prefer buying my comics issue-by-issue—but for some comics I wait for the trades.

Thanks for pointing that out, though. We wanted to give props to great comics, but we wanted to make sure they were ones we personally read and enjoyed.

  3. Jill aka The Nerdy Bird Jill aka The Nerdy Bird Says:

Yeah, I didn’t read Secret Invasion so the fact that it sold well didn’t factor into our decision making.

  4. WITA WITA Says:

Anyone know when the trade will be coming out—or multiple trades? Lol. I’ll have to keep an eye out for that.

Any recommendations on which books are essential to pick up?

  5. virtualgirl virtualgirl Says:

Lol…I figured that we would be called out for not having Secret Invasion in there! Like Wita said, we just wanted to put the comics that we personally read and enjoyed. I always wait for the trades when it comes to those big runs!

  6. DHC William J. Haley Says:

Hancock’s actually not based on a comic book. Not every superhero started out in comics. Minus 200 nerd cred for all of you, except for Meagan. Minus 500 for her!

  7. WITA WITA Says:

True, but it’s a superhero movie. Minus 100 pwned cred for William. ;)

  8. DHC William J. Haley Says:

True, but the banner says Best Comic Movie, not Best Superhero Movies. Minus infinity billion for Stephanie!

  9. WITA WITA Says:

    Banner, I trusted you!
