I saw this and immediately wanted one. How long before I kill it, though?
This cute little alarm clock is brought to you by Think Geek. The wheeled alarm clock started as an engineering student’s project. Having trouble waking up herself, Gauri Nanda developed ‘Clocky’ to shriek annoyingly and effectively, waking you up. But as mentioned before, this wheeled clock will jump off the table and roll away, forcing you to get out of bed, find it, and shut it up. Err, turn it off. You have the option of setting one snooze before he runs away or you can disable the wheels. (Seems cruel, doesn’t it?) Comes in almond white, aqua and mint and soon in mustard orange.

I love these objects that sort of have a life of their own. My clock starts to sing and pound it’s arms on the desk to wake me up. It has eyes and a smile and makes me feel like it’s almost a real thing!

Clocky is cute, I’ve seen it before! But I already have a TG alarm clock. Seven-day, whooo!

I still don’t know that this would work on me. I have my clock in another room, where I get up out of bed, turn it off (not even snooze) and go back to bed.
I need an alarm clock that pours a bucket of water on me.

@Mandy- I’m sure you could rig that if you slept in your shower!

“I saw this and immediately wanted one. How long before I kill it, though?”
The same could be said of so many things, couldn’t it?

They even make a Valentine’s Day version! Well, sort of, it’s just red/pink.

I am one of those people who wakes up thirty seconds before the alarm clock goes off. It’s annoying sometimes. But, my husband might benefit from that thing…

i remember seeing the first Clocky design. it was covered in fur with a leopard print. i guess the fur must have caused movement problems.
