Scarecrow gives Greek monster Medusa a new hip hop look.
Erick Scarecrow came out with his Medusa figure a while back and it sold out very quickly. Now back from popular demand the serpent temptress is back and ready to intimidate your other figures. She comes in her new “black mamba” color-way and is limited to 300 pieces. She looks to be around 6 to 8″ tall and retails for $60. You can pick her up over at the ESC-Toy Store next week.
Medusa is one of those rare figures that I would buy it at a high price (what are ya buying?). Her face is beautifully illustrated with a slight tinge of emotion. Her outfit is more fresh than anything I have in my closest and the detail of her one shoe as a snake is subtlety clever. Plus the snakes/hair are stylized in a fun hip hop way that matches the rest of the design. My only discrepency is that I would have liked to have seen more color or a different color other than red. She is still worth it.

That definitely is a cool cyberpunk update to the mythic character.

Wow. I love it. And the detail on the shoe is great. $60 doesn’t seem unreasonable to me!
