Recently, Bethesda Softworks officially announced the next installment in the Fallout series, as well as a teaser trailer. Fallout: New Vegas will not be a direct sequel to the events of Fallout 3, but will presumably be very similar in gameplay. While New Vegas is still being published by Bethesda, this time it is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment, a company founded by two former members of Black Isle Studios, the original publishers of Fallout titles. Hopefully, with the return of some members of the Black Isle development team, we’ll see some aspects of the old Fallout titles in the new installment.
I was totally psyched to see this new trailer, since Fallout 3 was definitely one of my favorite games of 2008. I’m still playing it sporadically because, even though I’ve put in maybe 50 hours, I still haven’t seen everything. So, if you like RPGs even a little, and you haven’t played Fallout 3, your homework is to go buy/rent it and play it. So, without further ado, here’s the teaser trailer. Enjoy!

It’s certainly no Sea of Dreams. I’m going to go out on a limb and call inevitable disappointment on this one.

Yeah, but Bioshock 2 may be questionable too. I mean, come on, that Big Sister looks pretty lame:)
