I have always been a fan of rainbows and a supporter of gay rights. So when information about this Labbit pack reached me, I squealed for joy. Smorkin’ Labbits are an ongoing character by Frank Kozik of tiny proportions. With cigarettes, lollipops or mustaches sticking out of their mouths, these rabbits always know how to represent. On June 4th the Gay Pride Labbit pack is available at Kidrobot stores for only $16.95. It comes with five mustache adorn Labbits that show off their gay colors.

They always creeped me out a bit, to be honest. I guess I just have an abnormal dislike for mustaches. And I’m with the above comment on the not knowing which side of the fence these fall on- awesome and good for the cause, or stereotype reinforcement.
Well, at least they are rainbow. You can never go bad with rainbow.

I really don’t think this is a stereotype. The gay community have adopted the rainbow as a symbol of their sexuality. As far as the mustaches, Kozik either does that or cigarettes. And he has done enough with the cigs.
