Like a few of the other girls on this site, I am a model and love to do shoots, especially when I can combine my passion for video games with my love for being in front of the camera. Recently I did a huge Guitar Hero shoot and just got some of my copies back and wanted to share with you all.
This shoot wasn’t scheduled, we were actually shooting for something else and it just kinda spawned from what we were shooting. I don’t wanna spoil the fun so I won’t tell you about the kick ass shoot we were doing first, that’s a surprise for later. For the time being, here are a few from my recent rocker girl photo shoot. Hope you like.

**EDIT:** I don’t appreciate needlessly negative comments or just pointless hateful comments. Friendly criticism is appreciated though.
We should support one another whether we agree with the topic at hand or not; with saying that, any comments that are pointless and are just meant to try and hurt me or bring down the morale of this site will be promptly removed. Let’s share the love and support and quit tearing each other down.

Great pics Raychul, 4th one down my fave though it was a tough choice between the topless one.
January 18th, 2008 at 11:28 am
grrlaction,
I think you still see a vibrant girl enjoying her time with her hobby, only this time you see two hobbies. Raychul is a model and many times will bring her gaming into her modelling shoots. This doesn’t mean she’s NOT a gamer and it doesn’t mean she’s NOT a model. Just that she enjoys both.
While I don’t believe in censorship, I do feel that it is the sites responsibility to let the reader know when a post may be unfit for children. This is something that we are still in the process of perfecting.
Raychul will be covering mature content games as well as horror games. We are working on a way to age verify for her category and we also have implemented a warning. This is so the families who visit our page are aware that we will have a section where adults can talk about adult gaming.
In a hobby where we have such a broad range of ages, I feel that it is important that we are responsible and alert everyone to what it is they may be reading.
Anyway, I just wanted to explain this briefly. I did remove one photo that I felt might not be suited for our site before the warning is perfected.
If you would like to see more of Raychul’s modelling portfolio you can visit her Myspace page.
Thanks!

I think that is understandable. Hey CYA right? Jack Thompson might be watching and looking for more ammo :-p
haha
January 18th, 2008 at 12:37 pm
Understandable. Warnings are a good way to avoid censorship in its totality. So I don’t mind seeing them around. Actually would make me gravitate toward the topic a little more if I did see one.
January 18th, 2008 at 2:16 pm
Did anyone really expect someone other than me to be the first to break GEN censorship?! Of course not, that would be against who I am…it’s my job.
Gotta keep you guys on your toes.
January 18th, 2008 at 5:07 pm
Looks awesome, Raychul! I love your top! ^-^ You should get a guitar skin to match!
January 18th, 2008 at 5:35 pm
haha you go girl, you are awesome. Always push the envelope and be who you are.
January 18th, 2008 at 10:08 pm
Glad to see the post back up.
January 19th, 2008 at 1:13 pm
Wow, seriously? You deleted not only my, but ALL negative comments?
Indeed the voice of female geeks. Indeed.
January 19th, 2008 at 4:42 pm
Yes, I deleted the negative comments *read the edit above* b/c aren’t we as gamer girls supposed to support each other and not tear each other down?! So please, if you have nothing constructive or positive to say then please do not write anything at all. Thank you!
January 19th, 2008 at 5:01 pm
As per Becky, and I quote …
“1. Positivity breeds positivity.
2. If you can’t say somethin’ nice, don’t say nothin’ at all.
3. You shall be removed if we feel you are being a pain in our booty’s.
4. Spam is a canned meat…
5. We are not a dating site.
6. Before you post, ask yourself what your mother would think about what you are writing.”

That shirt is cute Ray… wonder where you got* it!?
Just a note: we strive to make this a very positive, fun and open website. While we very much welcome opinions and constructive comments we do, so very much, frown upon anything that is distasteful, disrespectful or rude.

Out of curiosity, how would one go about contacting any of the editors?

Wow how did such an awesome post suddenly breed some negativity? Hello! - hot chik posing with a guitar. I’m perfectly fine with this.
BTW this is way tamer than something you can see on MTV.
January 20th, 2008 at 10:30 am
Thanks Johnny! This post was meant to be fun and light-hearted. Me and you…I think we are gonna get along very well.
January 20th, 2008 at 11:48 am
ok this is impossible for someone like me to understand …if you feel the need to post negative comments about anyone trying to have fun and posting a picture(S)
why would any insecure person..especially female gamers rip on someone for have….(wait for it)…fun
its just for fun and those of you feeling to the need to voice your easily forgeten comments….why is this the battle you want to pick?
January 20th, 2008 at 8:58 pm

January 21st, 2008 at 7:17 am

“This post contains mature content. It is not suitable for all ages. Parental Discretion is advised.”
Lol…..nice.
I love the shirt, Raych. Goes good with the guitar.
Looks real nice! Ignore the haters….they’re just insecure.

Aw, I’m gonna miss playing more Rock Band with Raychul. but anyways…
Seeing that I am the photographer of this shoot, I thought I’d throw in a comment or two.
I missed the drama early on, so I can only guess as to what it was about. So here are my guesses and the responses to these hypothetical issues:
1) Too mature for a gaming site.
Really? Oh that’s right, only children play videogames. I must be the only adult. That would explain xbox live.
2) Too explicit.
Don’t get me started. 99.9% of every photo I’ve ever taken of Raychul has been equal to that of a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition pic. When MTV, Sports Illustrated, Cosmo ads, Hooter’s girls, etc. become porn you let me know.
3) Exploits women.
That’s right! All you women should be wearing burkhas! How dare you entice me with your feminine beauty! And posting your opinions?! There ought to be a law! But seriously, seems to me that all the girls on this site have the freedom to post what they want. Be it news, reviews, opinions, and -oh my!- even cute photos. It’s hypocrisy in it’s worst form to think that EVERYTHING sexy is exploitive. Especially if that person posts something of his/her own free will.
I know this is the US, where fps head shots are acceptable and the human body is dirty… Censorship is around every corner under the guise of “protecting the children.” So even though I disagree with the ‘mature content’ tag, I guess mature is better than adult. But is that what it has come to? It’s either kid friendly or porno?
If there’s no pink, it’s not porn… and in my world, that’s kid friendly.
January 24th, 2008 at 4:30 pm
Thank you Spike, you know I luvs ya.
And thank you to everyone too!
January 26th, 2008 at 6:33 pm
How did I miss this one?!
Excuse my belatedness, but you look fab! What a cute little waist you have, and legs that are perfectly suiting to sport a skirt like that.
I’ll agree in saying that the guitar deserves a skin, but for an impromptu photo op, you can’t be too picky!
January 29th, 2008 at 2:56 am
I love the pics. All I know is, Candy Cane from Rumble Roses as noting on you.
January 29th, 2008 at 2:57 am
*has

Some great shots Raychul! I am still learning about photography and am assisting for a couple of photographers. That material you were standing on looks slippery!
February 4th, 2008 at 12:27 pm
Thank you Ghinto!
Good luck on your photographing adventures! Oh, and the stuff I am standing on…just a silk bed sheet.

I’m not sure i really get this? Is it a guitar hero themed shoot or a shoot with the guitar hero controller added?
also have comments been deleted? admitidly bitching, i mean nasty bitching isn’t nice, but i don’t agree with deleting posts.
June 24th, 2008 at 6:00 pm
It’s a shoot with a controller because she loves Guitar Hero.
The nasty comments were deleted. I have not deleted anything but the nasty ones that were not mature.
