Its true, I do!
Left 4 Dead is amazing, if you don’t agree I don’t think you are playing the same game I am, yes the internet is full of idiots who don’t know how to kill a zombie, but hey, who cares?
I found this little gem of a video while browsing through the community blogs on Destructoid. The video is made by a community member by name of Geoff and I have to admit it’s pretty sweet.
Those who play L4D will already know about some of the crappy glitches such as being able to push the GOD DAMN generator in front of the lift causing much distresses and swearing from the survivors, but Geoff takes it one step further. The video documents some very interesting ways to pretty much annoy the hell out of your team mates ‘just for the lolz’. This includes convincing them to jump off buildings, shooting them in the back while they are almost at the end of the ‘what are you trying to prove’ achievement and giving ‘hunter hugs’ to fellow smokers while they are trying to constrict someone.
Now it’s not that I encourage this kind of behavior, XBL full of idiots anyway, but if I don’t want to play with idiots on L4D I will play with friends, personally I think that’s what L4D is intended for. Nobody except for people I know find my rape whistle funny when I’m pounced on by a hunter.

Wow.
That’s a perfect example of someone who should be IP banned from Xbox Live. That’s the reasons someone like me, who’s looking to play and have fun, has yet to join an online game on Live, because I really don’t need some 20 year old wasting my time like that.
There may be idiots on Live, but some of us don’t have friends to join a game with, so we have to rely on the matching system and try to have fun with whoever we’re thrown together with by the matching.
If you want to be immature, do it on your own time with your own friends in a private server. I just fail to see why there are some kids out there intent on getting their rocks off on ruining other people’s entertainment. It must have to do with these being the types of kids that got (or still get) picked on in school, so this is their way to lash out with a little power trip.
This video really shows why all games should have credit-card age validated servers for all online offerings. Sure, there are some immature 30-somethings, but odds are much higher to find a better maturity level on an age-validated server. After all, they’re not going to do a Mensa-validation server, which would be the ideal, are they?
