If your one of the many zombie hunters following the Left 4 Dead game that will be released by Valve this November (hopefully). Here are some quick updates on the game’s development with some new multiplayer videos, E3 press conference video, and character redesign renders.

You may or may not have heard the announcement at E3 about the main characters being redesigned for the game. Apparently an online petition is already floating around on the internet, demanding the original character back. It seems that allot of fans of the upcoming game are a little disappointed in the new character models, I’ll let you decide.

In case you have been under a rock about Valve’s incredible zombie/horror survival multiplayer game, let me fill you in.
Left 4 Dead is an upcoming multiplayer co-operative survival horror first-person shooter game by Turtle Rock Studios which is, as of January 10, 2008, part of Valve Corporation. The game has been built using Valve’s Source engine and will be available on the PC and Xbox 360. There will be no PS3 version. Certain Affinity is responsible for the Xbox 360 version of the game. Left 4 Dead puts four human playable or AI controlled survivors of an apocalyptic pandemic against hordes of the Infected. Regular Infected are controlled by the game AI, while human players can control up to four mutated Boss Infected with special abilities. The Survivors’ goal of Left 4 Dead is to help each other make it through a level to safety. Infected players must cooperate to stop them. - Wikipedia

I thought the character designs were interesting. The first group looks like it’s styled on the more “realistic” thriller style. While the new ones seem to be in a more B-horror style.
Any way, looks interesting but I probably won’t be able to run it. I have not been able to play anything through steam since I upgraded my computer. I’ve taken it to several shops but no one can find anything wrong with it.
