Black Friday, otherwise known as the day after Thanksgiving, can be the best day of the year for finding video game bargains and exclusives. Sites like Black Friday dot info have already leaked some deals that will be available come November 28th.
If like myself, you’ve been jealous over the color options of the Nintendo DS Lite in Europe and Japan, then rejoice because Sears is offering an ICE BLUE bundle and a MARIO RED bundle. The ice blue bundle contains a copy of Brain Age and matching carrying case. If red is more your flavor then pick up the New Super Mario Brothers with matching “M” monogrammed DS Lite system. Sears is also offering Guitar Hero bundles for 360, PS3, and Wii for just $54.99.
Toys-R-Us has Princess Peach and Star Wars DS bundles listed but no word on what they include or what they look like, yet. It’s still a bit early in the game for deal announcements but bookmark the above site to stay up-to-date and check back here for what we’re picking up! Do remember these deals are usually limited to a certain amount of time and go fast. Be there early, you’ll be competing with those intending to sell these items on Ebay and rabid parents set on purchasing items for their children.
Should you miss out on the opportunity to purchase uncommon DS colors or hard to find titles, importing is always an option using sites like PlayAsia and Renchi. For those not familiar with importing video games and consoles be aware of region codes and different outlets. Few systems are region free and may not support games or peripherals that weren’t purchased on your home turf.

Sometimes I wish my DS would break (not really) so I would have an excuse to get the pink one. I just can justify getting another one though… Maybe I can donate it or something!

I’m not a fan of my pink one. The rose pink shade is much prettier than the pink color I have. I’d love to have the lime green, the ice blue is so tempting though.
