An unbelievable amount of talent, time and love went into this fantastic Nintendo Wii modification. The Super Mario Galaxy themed Wii is currently being auctioned on eBay, with 15% of the proceeds going to the Penny Arcade’s Child’s Play charity, which is a charity committed to collection donations of toys, games, books and cash for children in hospitals across North America.
Morpheon Mods put over 100 hours of work and planning into this incredible piece of art, which also doubles as a Nintendo Wii! The collaboration of 60 LED’s, almost 30 feet of wire, custom circuit boards and triggers, the CAD-designed, laser cut marquee, and of course Mario and lumas, make this Wii a true celestial masterpiece; all based off the widely popular Super Mario Galaxy game.
But wait, there’s more! The Wii also comes with a red Wii-mote, a limited edition Super Mario Galaxy medallion, a Super Mario Reclining Desk Plush, and an signed copy of the Collector’s Edition Galaxy Strategy Guide (signed by the contributors to this project).
As of Tuesday evening, the bid is at $510, and closes in just under five days. Be sure to check out the massive amount of pictures and detailed description on eBay, and if you’re feeling friendly give it a bid or two… it’s for the children!

It reminds me of being a kid and staring at the Christmas lights right before going to bed on Christmas Eve.
