To all the Rumor Kings and Gossip Queens out there, here’s a little tidbit!
There has been speculation for some time about Microsoft formulating a Full Body Motion Control System for the XBox 360. It’s aimed to be a step up from the Wii, and offer motion control without the controller.
It features punching, kicking, pinching, grabbing, jumping, and clapping to start. It also features video conference so you can virtually see your friends’ attempts at an upper-cut round-house combo in person!
Microsoft is doing its best to keep the alleged project under wraps. No one knows for sure- but the details slot in well with previous rumors. For instance, a few months ago Microsoft began to show interest in acquiring a company called 3DV Systems, which “develops ‘virtual reality’ imaging technology, called ZCams.”
This sounds promising! But perhaps our best chance of knowing for sure is a month away, at E3.
In the meantime we can speculate about Sony’s model of a motion controller. Maybe not quite the same, but hey- it’s still gossip!

I can remember all the initial incidents of flying Wii controllers before the wristbands were used. This … well, this just leads to all sorts of trouble. Younger siblings, beware!

This will for-sure take up a whole room in one’s abode. Assuming you don’t have large space for drop kicking around, lol. This will definitely take active gaming to a new level, and after all, I’ve always wanted to play a Fighting game VR style!!
