Looks cool, thought I’m not sure about the colored platform theme, but maybe it’s just because how good the city looks. It also makes me wonder how this game would work with multiplayer.

I agree. To me, the colored platforms are just too bland and look maybe like it would be confusing. Granted I haven’t played this yet—still don’t have a next-gen system, but soon!—but everyone keeps saying to rent it, not buy it, because it’s just so short. At any rate, it’s a good plan, but I guess we’ll see how the expansion turns out.

Yeah, definitely rent this one first. I got through it in about 5 hours. They were a great 5 hours, but still….
The colored platforms might not be too confusing if they still have runner’s vision on them. We’ll have to see how it turns out.

I LOVED this game, but I agree that you should rent it first, it is a short game and might not be worth the full price to everyone. Still, I think you will be hard-pressed to find another game this innovative in 2008. As for the map-pack, I love what they did. I enjoyed the cityscape, but this helps focus where you need to go. If I loved anything the most about Mirror’s Edge it was how DICE stylized everything, so I enjoy the new look.

I wasn’t gonna buy this game because I heard it was so short, but now with extra levels. I just might.
