Since the release eight months ago in Japan, we have been waiting for the news when Ponyo on the Cliff By the Sea will be in our American theaters. The wait is over…for the news anyways. On August 14th of this year you will be able to feast your eyes on the beauty that is Ponyo. The movie dubs will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall. They have clustered together an interesting voice cast: Noah Cyrus, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Cate Blanchett, Cloris Leachman, Liam Neeson, Lily Tomlin, Betty White and Frankie Jonas. It seems their ploy is to gather actors for all ages to recognize. Clever move. What do you think of the voice cast?

FINALLY. When I was in Japan, I could not get away from Ponyo, even if I wanted to. It’s about darn time it came over here!
