If you need some Gears of War action and you just can’t wait until November for the sequel, NECA has you covered. They have just released a new 12″ figure that will make all of the other cubicles at work jealous: a talking Marcus Fenix. This highly detailed figure comes with a snub pistol, bloodied Lancer and - as long as his batteries are juiced up - says three phrases at the push of a button: “Bring it on!”, “Nice!” and “BACK IN YOUR HOLE!”

The detail in this 1:6 scale collectable is incredible including a long, jagged facial scar that runs across Marcus’ face that just screams “MANLY MAN.” Marcus can be posed a bit, but even with 13 joints, his mobility range won’t be enough to film a stop motion animation of him dancing to the GoW end credits rap. (Sad, I know.)
The Marcus Fenix 12″ figure retails for just $30.00, but if you’re broke, fear not. Figures.com is doing a giveaway that will end on October 10, 2008. Just enter your email address and they’ll put you in a drawing for your very own cuddly Marcus Fenix. Make sure you check out NECAonline.com to see the entire Gears of War line complete with plenty of detailed photos.

LMAO @ Lefty Redbeard. I hadn’t even noticed that… ahem. Well then. Not sure about shipping to Sweden. Guess that depends on the shop. Here’s a link to Google shopping’s results for Marcus Fenix 12″

Thanks for the link, GameDame.
Errrm (again)… the first two entries are a Marcus Fenix 12-Inch Action Figure for $34,99 and a Marcus Fenix 12-Inch Action Figure with sound for $24,99.
So you have to pay ten dollars NOT to hear him speak…?
As for the infamous “thumbs up” incident I wouldn’t have noticed it myself if I hadn’t been alerted to the rather intimate looks they were giving one another.
