While you may be getting tired of guitar and drum peripherals, Activision has yet another unique toy for you to add to your collection. Personally, as long as it doesn’t have a strum bar or five rainbowtastic buttons I’m all for trying new things. I desperately want Tony Hawk: RIDE to be good (although THUG is still going to be hard to top), and if this new trailer is any indication, the skateboard controller may just have what it takes to deliver a fun, as-close-to-authentic-as-a-piece-of-plastic-can-get skating experience. I don’t like it because there’s no option to use a regular controller. They’re forcing you to use their peripheral, not to mention forcing you to pay more money, but even worse. They’re trying to force the industry to go motion controller. I don’t mind motion controls, as long as we get the option to choose.

This game will only be good for one thing - hilarious YouTube footage of people getting injured and breaking shit.
I’d feel weird putting all my body weight (and I’m only 110lbs) on a piece of electronic equipment. _Someone_ is going to break their board, OR some child is going to fall and slip, and send their board straight into their daddy’s 67″ TV.
But again, entertaining YouTube videos are upon us!
