Here’s yet another pick from E for All… the NOVA mousepad. I wanted to test this out before writing about it and I have to say, I’m impressed. Gamers need special equipment in order to game adequately. We can’t settle for any old accessory because if we do, our game suffers. That’s why we go out of our way to get headphones with crystal sound, a mouse with even movement, etc. Here’s yet another product made specifically for PC gamers that will help improve your reflexes!!
I’ll admit, I have a rinky-dink mousepad with a kitten on it that I use for my piece-o-crap laptop. It’s soft, collects dust, peels, and well… you get the picture. The NOVA is designed for maximum movement with little dust collecting material… plus it’s easy to clean. If your pad is of “so-so” quality, your mouse can stop functioning correctly, leaving you wide open for the kill…
Another thing I hate about mousepads is that they tend to be small… and the good one’s boast a freaking hill for an arm rest (see picture below):
*hahaha* … now don’t get me wrong… I love novelty items… especially anime one’s… but this is NOT for gaming. Not only would your arm get caught up in those things, but there’s little space to move. Now look at the NOVA:
Take note… there are no distracting lumps, no loose material, and plenty of space to move around on. I understand that the flashy mousepads above are fun… but save that for normal computing and leave the gaming to the NOVA.

These pads ROCK! Just like Tracyee…heehee
anyhoo, these pads are awesome and they are coming out with a new line sometime in November (15000 dpi pad and a sweet porcelin footed customizable mouse). I wish I had a benefactor (Wink wink nudge nudge) to get me some toys!

I’m enjoying mine too! A point that you didn’t mention, is these suckers stick to my desk surface really well! My other mouse pad (Shrek, btw) always fell off my desk because it was floppy & no sticky stuff on the bottom. These stay put!

*lol* no you rock EBWonder! ;D
And you’re right Mandy! I totally forgot to mention that the bottom of the pads are slip proof! EGADS! So very important! =S

I’m using my Nova Killer 2 mousepad at my desk now and I LOVE it! It’s just the right size (big!!) and it’s so smooth. I don’t have to worry about the peeling or the running out of space for my mouse. Although I have JUST started using it, I can tell that this is a win.

Thank you girls so much for letting me have one of these pads, Mandy in particular. I love using it. The mouse moves so easily over it and I love the fact that the pad has yet to slip out of place no matter how many times I shake the desk when I am mad at losing a scenario in Warcraft.

The more I use this pad, the more I love it! I’m so glad they let us test these!!
