Play with pandas online and help out the pandas in real life!
For those of you who don’t know, I’m a HUGE fan of panda bears. During the most recent China earthquake, the Wolong Wildlife Refuge where a great deal of pandas were being kept was destroyed. Help out the rebuilding of this panda sanctuary by stopping by and playing this online game!

Pandas International is Collaborating with Elf Island
To Help Our Endangered Pandas Through Online Game Play.
From July 2nd through July 31st, kids and the young at heart will be able to play an online game in the virtual world of Elf Island that will have real world benefits for Pandas International and the Panda Centers. Elf Island has launched its next GoodQuest game challenging kids to rescue pandas that were injured and displaced by the 2008 earthquake in the Sichuan Province of China.
To play, go to www.elfisland.com, click on the Gaming for Good button and look for the Panda GoodQuest. After signing on, you can play games, solve puzzles, and interact with other players all while learning about the panda and its habitat.

My husband always says that the Universe has been trying to kill off the panda for thousands of years but humans just keep saving them from extinction. He’s a joy that way.
