Uh oh, another video game-turned-Hollywood atrocity. But wait, what’s this? Jerry Bruckheimer? Disney?! THE ORIGINAL CREATOR?!!! This all seems so unfamiliar and, possibly, good. Don’t take my word for it though: Here’s a shiny new trailer for all you Prince-loving peeps. I’ll save the excitement for opening night as we all know if there’s anything Hollywood is good at, it’s crushing dreams and letting Tim Burton $#?! all over my childhood memories.

GAH, I can’t wait! It does look impressive so far. I love the Prince of Persia series, so I hope they don’t muck it up.

I admit that I don’t know anything about this character at all, but Jake isn’t looking so “persian” to me. Hot, but not a cultural match for the role. Hasn’t Hollywood advanced at all since casting Yul Brynner in 1956?

I’m going to have to agree with Amber. No offense to Jake and not to say he can’t act - but golly I’m sure there are a decent amount of Persians in the world that could play this role and actually look the part.
I know, I know…Picky. =[ But it’s always such a disappoint! I just get flashbacks to Harry Potter movies and NO green eyes…
