PrincessTwilight: Attention GEN! Help a girl out!

I’m going to take this opportunity to use GEN for my own benefit.  I am a self-proclaimed casual gamer, and I need help from all you pros out there! I currently own 4 game systems: Super Nintendo, N64, Gamecube, and DS Lite. Basically, I’m looking for any recommendations of games that I should play to expand my gaming repetoir.  Virtualgirl is begging me to get a Wii…and maybe someday I will, when I just happen to have an extra $250 lying around…but for now, any suggestions you can give me for games (specifically for DS and GC) would be helpful!

Here’s what I have for my GC: The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess (whoa, obvious!), Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Super Smash Bros Melee, Simpsons Hit and Run, MarioKart Double Dash, and Mario Power Tennis

For my DS, I have: The Simpsons Game (which I’m currently selling on Ebay since I wasn’t that impressed…), MarioKart DS, Sonic Rush, New Super Mario Bros, Super Monkey Ball Touch and Roll, WarioWare Touched, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, and The Legend Zelda A Link to the Past (Gameboy Advance). Enroute from Ebay is Legend of Zelda Phamtom Hourglass and Ultimate Mortal Kombat.

Obviously I’m pretty limited in my selection because I have all Nintendo systems.  But any suggestions you’ve got are welcome! Thanks!

DS - Phoenix Wright series. It’s awesome! I love these games. There are currently 4 out, but it’s a story line, so start with the first one Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. Also, if you’re a Tetris fan, the online play is very fun. Animal Crossing is good. You’re going to love Phantom Hourglass.

OMG, I totally second Phoenix Right. It’s my fave game on DS. I even blogged about it! I haven’t played the fourth one yet, but definitely go in order if you can. You can see it here: http://girlsentertainmentnetwork.com/?p=68#more-68

Also, I loved Fire Emblem on the SP, so I would suggest picking it up on the GameCube!

And although I haven’t played many of them, pick up a Final Fantasy game for the DS. You HAVE to play at least one Final Fantasy games in your lifetime.
