Just got back from Hellboy II- it was outstanding. Del Toro is SO great at creating unique creatures, and his use of special effects and CGI is outstanding. He has encouraged me with the Hellboy series and Pan’s Labyrinth that he can do a decent job taking over the Hobbit for Jackson and still make it almost as good as Jackson would have.
Anyways- go see Hellboy II- it’s great!

I actually never really got into Hellboy—but a friend sent me a graphic novel the other day I’m going to read soon, so maybe that’ll change. ;D
At any rate, maybe I’ll rent it when it’s out. I’m poor, haha! Can’t see every movie.
And I’ve heard about six people’s reactions now, and it’s pretty much a tie: good or bad.
