Finally, my prayers have been answered, Silent Hill now has an official name AND most importantly, a release date! Silent Hill has been one of my favorite survival horror games since the very first Silent Hill on the PS1. Silent Hill brought the terror and the gore that Resident Evil was lacking, it gave you nightmares, and it made you love it every step of the way! Even tho the last Silent Hill (Silent Hill 4: The Room) was a total disappointment, the next one in the series looks like it will make up for all that wasted time you spent on 4.
Well now all that waiting finally has an end in sight, Silent Hill 5: Homecoming will be coming to the Xbox 360 and the PS3 at the end of September! I personally can’t wait, I have been waiting for a good Silent Hill since 3. I love to be scared and I love dreading turning that next corner. This time you will be playing as Alex Shepard who has gone searching for his lost brother…too bad he doesn’t know what we do. Once you go to Silent Hill you never come back, might as well just give up on that lost brother now…but that wouldn’t be any fun now would it?! The boobie nurses are back too! They are my favorite! I haven’t read much more on the story but the screen shots and video I have seen all look awesome.
And yes, the master behind the creepy music of Silent Hill, Akira Yamaoka, will be behind the music of Silent Hill 5 as well.
