Sony believes that the PlayStation is meant to be fun but apparently people don’t believe them. Sony PlayStation Europe announced a new competition called ‘We are PlayStation’. Sony wants you to take a picture of yourself or your friends having fun with their PlayStation or their PSP. No, not that kind of fun, Mr. Haley put your penis away! Let’s keep this competition PG shall we?

The competition officially started on the 28^th of January and photos can be entered into anyone of these categories: Caught in the Moment, Unexpected places, PlayStation Parties, True love and Endless play and the winners will be judged by a panel of guest judges and the prizes aren’t to shabby either. Top prize is 1000Euros and a Sony D-SLR a350 camera. Ten runners up will also win 100Euros each and the next 100 top entries will win a top PlayStation game or vouchers for the PlayStation store, all are better than a swift kick in the teeth if you ask me.

It’s defiantly a curve ball from Sony, yes games like Buzz and SingStar have always been popular, but like the 360 I have never really associated getting drunk with my friends and all of us playing games and having super happy fun time together with PlayStation, that’s what the Wii is for.

Contest finishes on March 17^th but so far I haven’t been able to come up with any ideas that don’t involve nudity, well not my nudity, Haley’s nudity actually, bloody Sony fanboy. I am expecting LOLZ from this, so don’t disappoint me now.
