X360 Review: BioShock 2



Every now and then, a new game comes along that really makes you sit back and say, “Wow, it’s amazing what we can accomplish now.”  2K’s BioShock was one of those games.  Bioshock combined outstanding graphics, innovative gameplay and a fascinating story perfectly, ultimately making one of the best FPS games that I’ve ever played.  So, that said, BioShock 2 really had a great deal of expectation to live up to.  2K has certainly put forth a valiant effort with this sequel, and while the game certainly shines in many areas, other factors take away from the game.  Ultimately, BioShock 2 is a really fun and interesting game, but it doesn’t entirely meet the standard set by BioShock.

Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Carribbean) to produce Bioshock Movie


Bioshock The Movie

Gore Verbinski, director of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, is slated to direct and produce the BioShock movie. John Logan, Academy Award-nominated writer of Gladiator, The Aviator and Sweeney Todd, is in talks to do the screenplay. The expected release date and terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
