A content patch is to be released in the coming weeks for the players of World of Warcraft, in preparation for the much anticipated expansion Wrath of the Lich King. This early release patch is designed to ‘bridge current game content with that of the expansion and will contain some exciting changes and additions’ posted by Eyonix of Blizzard this afternoon. The buzz is on Blizzard yet again about all the stuff they have in store for us within the next few years. Blizzard very recently placed a new splash screen on their main website. With the Paris Invitational around the corner I’d be willing to bet that we will hear more about this soon. Some say it’s an indication of Diablo III anouncement, others claim it’s from Wraith of the Lich King and more claim that it’s StarCraft II excitement.

When a company intends on purchasing a domain name, it usually means that something is in the woodwork for the next game in the series (or at least an expressed interest). I know I have been waiting like a giddy little necromancer all these years for even the slightest rumor of Diablo 3 in the making. Mockery of Diablo3.com was recently contacted by Blizzard in regards to the domain name.
