Resident Evil: Degeneration shares more in common with Final Fantasy VII Advent Children than just being feature-length, CG films based on popular videogames; they are both rather disappointing, canonical additions that could have been so much more. With Hollywood and German filmmakers consistently running game adaptations into the ground, it was up to the originators of these franchises to show the world how it’s done.

In 2006 Clover studio released one of the greatest achievements on the PS2 console that the world had ever seen. The game known only as Okami was IGN’s 2006 Game of the Year. Okami took home several more awards that year, making it the eighth highest overall game of 2006 and second for the PS2, behind Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. Okami was a masterpiece if there ever was and it’s colorful sumi-e art style made for an excellent game. It is now the year 2008 and the game is still a masterpiece yet it is no longer under the name of Clover, but Capcom and Capcom has a whole lot of dirty laundry.
If you’re like me ladies, you keep your DS lite and a small stock of games in your purse. I’m the type of person who dreads sitting around waiting with absolutely NOTHING to do. I’m a mobile gaming fanatic. If I’m not on my DS, I’m whipping out the solitaire on my ipod or Tetris on my cell!
