Video games in school has been a taboo phrase up until the past few years. Back in the age of virtual pets, Pokemon red/blue, and Gameboy, gaming in schools could get kids suspended or worse. We are now in 2009 and allot has changed. Individuals can major in gaming development or become professional gamers without prejudice of mainstream society telling them that gaming isn’t work.

Since E for All is new to the con circuit, this was my first time attending so I didn’t have any expectations. It blew my mind! This wasn’t the case for everyone, however. Many thought that last years experience was top notch with bigger companies, more games, and better booths… at the same time, it was a complete flop! This years E for All proved that it may have staying power. True, the booths weren’t as epic… true, the smaller companies represented this year, but it was the people who made it what it was… FANTASTIC! Read the full story
