Georges Jeanty Rules the Buffyverse
Can you imagine what it’s like being responsible for bringing characters fans have come to know and love over 7 seasons of TV to the comic page? That’s the duty Buffy artist Georges Jeanty shouldered when Joss Whedon handpicked him for the gig. Fazed? Hardly. Jeanty was too busy enjoying his comics, sci-fi and horror to notice the pressure.
Bioshock hit Japan this month and with much excitement. The excitement isn’t just for the game, it’s for the creepy Japanese ad for the game.
It seems the majority of the US is freaked out by the ad, it’s simplistic and gets the point across. I just don’t get why everyone is scared by it. I guess it’s all that Horror survival video game desensitization.
Well, at least from far away it looks really cool, but take a closer look at this baby, and you’ll start to notice some strange things. It reminds me of that new DS game, Millionheir, because there’s one thing that’s not very noticeable at first glance. Can you find Alexander Graham Bell’s phone? It’s in the left corner of the controller, and VERY out of place on this would-be cool Japanese designed next-gen pad.
It seems everyone is talking about this leaked Kingdom Hearts 3 segment known as “Birth by Sleep”. I am not sure what is quite going on, but I recognize Roxas and that is about it. Hopefully this game will come out sometime this millennium and then I will be forced to purchase a PS3. The segment is in Japanese with English subtitles, check it out.
