My first convention dished out the excitement like an all-you-can-eat buffet of awesomey goodness. The area surrounding Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment booth swarmed with crowds and security, but being inside the booth felt like breezing into a zen bubble that not even the loudest of fans could pop. Prying me away from Scribblenauts and Batman: Arkham Asylum was no easy feat.

As GEN’s DS fanatic, I was lucky enough to demo a few of the upcoming games a few weeks ago at E3. Whether I’m headed to the park, beach or waiting in line at Disneyland -my DS is a necessity. Of course it’s common to see celebrities promoting and advertising a product, but it’s rare that you see them promote video games… and even more rare that it’s females! I was pleasantly surprised to see one of my favorite celebs, Liv Tyler, testing her brain age on Brain Age 2 while I was watching TV. American Idol winner country sweetheart Carrie Underwood does another ad lounging on her tour bus and playing with her Nintendog. And Ugly Betty star America Ferrara joins in on the fun as well.
