Can you imagine what it’s like being responsible for bringing characters fans have come to know and love over 7 seasons of TV to the comic page? That’s the duty Buffy artist Georges Jeanty shouldered when Joss Whedon handpicked him for the gig. Fazed? Hardly. Jeanty was too busy enjoying his comics, sci-fi and horror to notice the pressure.
You either love or hate Zack Snyder by now. The director of Watchmen and 300 was down-to-earth and full of enthusiasm when I joined a group of about seven other press in a roundtable at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the new director’s cut of the film. Snyder dished about his passion for movies, the film’s long running time, his favorite scenes, and more.

Check out some new posters of the 2009 Watchmen movie after the jump, and tell us what you think. I’m worried these posters—while great for fanboys (or fangirls, like myself)—won’t draw in people who aren’t familiar with the graphic novel. In fact, I think they’ll be turned off by them.
