With Thanksgiving upon us, I thought it would be nice to put down our baking trays, step away from ironing your football jersey, wash off the turkey innerds from your hands and take a moment to type out a few things that you are thankful for!
This year, I am thankful for:
- My new friends who have been piling up over the past year
- The opportunity to be paid to do what I love to do
- The “changes” that this country came together to make this year
- My family
- The influx of creative people who have come into my life and made my creative juices flow
- All of the new and amazing games that have come out this year
- Twilight - Yeah…. I went there.
- My kitties (Magi and Broadway)
- Lastly, all of you. Without you GEN and this wonderful family would not exist! I am so thankful for your kindness, your positivity and support!
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

My family, my friends, our health, and the love we all spread to one another.

I am thankful for:
My family (we may be small, but I wouldn’t ask for anything else)
My hubby/best friend
My friendships
My GEN girls (and guys!)
The opportunities afforded to me through my work
Having a roof over my head, clothing on my back, and food on my table
My animals, who even though they annoy me most of the time, I couldn’t live without.
Video games, comics, anime, cosplay and more. It is good being a geek.

My family, my friends, and just the fact that I am still alive.

This isn’t going to be easy because I’m pretty depressed and angry about certain things right now. =P
My mom for providing me a place to stay when everything was taken from me by other people.
My three cats, even though one has defected to being my mom’s (he runs from me like I spent my lifetime beating him!) And the other has diabetes and is a fortune to care for (when my money doesn’t get replaced, it’s more painful to spend!)
Starbucks- the one place I get to go out and hang and feel like I belong (but of course it’s being closed in another few months, and I’ll have to drive over to the other side of town and spend the next several years re-establishing myself as the regular I am.)
My new technology gadgets and computer I bought- my new computer is jaw-droppingly insanely awesome and I’m loving finally having an Xbox 360 even if I am too “scared” to join a multiplayer game on it. Even already obsessed with my iPod Touch- that thing is glued to my arm whenever I’m out and about!
So, yep… I’m thankful for coffee, cats, concrete(the walls of my basement room/dungeon),and computers!
