I have scoured the net and compiled my favorite images of pop-culture related body paint art.
Having already covered Cortana, Ghost in the Shell and Darth Talon I decided to do a little more research and find some of the best body painting work on the web. Not only are the models extremely gorgeous and fit (ONLY wearing a layer of paint mind you) the artists are also extremely talented in their portrayals of these pop-culture characters.
Here is a refresher of the three that GEN has covered previously:

CORTANA

Ghost in the Shell

Darth Talon
We now bring you the gallery of body painting masterpieces (click to enlarge photos)
WHICH ONES ARE YOUR FAVORITES?

Big Ms. Marvel fan here, so it is no surprise that I like that one. I also love the Kitana and Mara Jade ones as well. But the Toki Doki and Night Sky ones are freaking cool as well. Then the Cheetara one is cool.

They may not be The Best, but I think this this group is cute. Also, Rogue!
I just love bodypainting. The human body can be a work of art as is, and if you have a wonderful painter, the possibilities are endless. I’ve always had such an interest in it that I was gifted an airbrush kit last Yule. Now all I need is to get my butt in enough shape to be able to wear the paint like they do. *laughs*
Thanks for the great pictures!

They say the best research is to actually become part of what you’re researching, to better understand it of course. Aktrez you’ll have to bodypaint

Thanks utsumi99 for the additions! While I”m not a fan of the MASSIVE photoshop job they did on these… they are gorgeous! Definitely amazing. I love the texture it seems they used. I have NO idea how they did that.

Yup, this guy’s faux fabric effect is amazing. He’s got lots of great comic book-y painted costumes and armor in his other galleries, but I think these are the only two official comic characters he’s done.

I just posted the pics from my girls Superhero Body Painting, I’m looking for feed back on this type of body paint. We are doing X-MEN next month. She will be Rogue (she was Emma Frost in the youtube pictures). Any guidance would be helpful in re-enacting the Rogue Character.
