It’s been a while since we checked in on Garudoh and his awesome ongoing YouTube series, The Music of Video Games. Now is as good a time as any, so here’s a look at the first three games and their original soundtracks. Since Garudoh is still working his way through the 32-bit era, you’ll have to wait for Resident Evil 6 for the second batch.
Note: If you’re not as big a fan of Moonlight Sonata as some of us, you may want to skip ahead on the first video to the four minute mark.

<3 Moonlight Sonata, but I think Resident Evil 2 has one of the best scores in the series.

So it’s not REALLY the music, but special mention to the wooden voice-acting and the intense terror of ‘RESIDENT EEEVIL’ in the introduction.
