Some of you may already be familiar with Top Shelf, but if not… what better time to become acquainted with them! 125 of their graphic novels have been slashed to only $3!!
Walking along the endless aisles of San Diego Comic Con, I spot a small yellow book with a cutesy drawing and the words, “Will You Still Love Me If I Wet The Bed?” Completely intrigued by her overall cuteness factor, mixed with a dash of immature awesomeness, I was totally in. I picked it up and head to the front to purchase the book, not really knowing what it’s about, but decided it was definitely worth $7.
Along the way I noticed a man at the booth drawing on the inside cover of this book:
I really liked the cover art, so I picked a copy up, I thumbed through it, it was quirky and well drawn; figuring I would really enjoy it, I picked up a copy. Not only was said drawing man a quite rather courteous cashier, but he was also the artist and writer of the book. Service with a smile, and a cute little personalized drawing inside my brand new book!
Needless to say I loved both of these books, and everything I have purchased from Top Shelf afterwards.
