Play as Edward and make the difficult choices to either give in to your desires or continue your path of good and “vegetarianism”. Play as Bella and collect clues about the mysteries surrounding the Cullens and the rainy city of Forks, WA.
Ok, so there isn’t REALLY a Twilight game … yet. As with any mainstream media phenomenon there has been quite a bit of speculation surrounding whether or not the Twilight series has the ability to be turned into other forms of media. Of course this includes comic/manga versions of the books, toys and of course the Twilight video game.
Honestly, although there is little action in the first book, I could see a very “final fantasy’esque” story driven game being built from the Twilight series. I think that, if coupled with a Myst sort of puzzle vibe and a killer soundtrack, I believe it would be able to be pulled off.
What do you think? Could we be seeing more books turned to games coming up in the future? Could Edward and Bella come to life on our consoles/computers?

Ok, I think a video game would be totally awesome for twilight. Why not make a video game? If you don’t like it then don’t play it! I, on the other hand would love the chance to play a game where I had the super powers of one of Stephanie Meyer’s vampires! Make it a life action game like Star Wars TFU where you play as edward and you have to keep yourself fed and solve puzzles etc. Sounds great to me! I like the baseball idea too!!

I think they could make a good game from twilight, imagine the beginning you would be bella starting school, doing your lessons (bit like the potter games) Then you change to edward leaving for a few days. You could hunt as him, struggle with his mental battles etc. Then u come back and go through their coming together stage. You can then go to his hosue and jump through the trees, going to baseball then you can run away from james until the big fight
good game in my opinion! you could then have unlockable characters to play mini games etc…. whats not to love!

Why ruin the RPG genre by pissing Twilight all over it? It’s bad enough the emo kids all all gay for Final Fantasy VII (without ever actually having played the game…they’ve only seen FFVII: Advent Children, and here’s some news: Kadaj ISN’T IN THE FRIKKING GAME.

I think they should totally make a twilight video game. It should basically let you choose your character (Bella or Edward), and be a simulation- reality game for girls and guys alike to play it! I think if it was a virtual reality simulation game that would be awesome, and we could walk in their shoes. What I don’t get, is the fact that Brazil has one out online already…but everything is in freaking Portugese!! So we can’t play…=[ And that game looks awesome!!! I can’t really decide yet if I would like Twilight as a video game. It would be fun, but I think it might take away the special feeling you get when you read the books…and maybe the movie too. I think just a baseball/wresting Emmett/Cullen racing…those wear great ideas by twilightvampluvr. Maybe they could just make a game like that.

i personnally would love a twilight video game,
it would be so fun to live the lives of the cullens

the only problem is that twilight is a love story and not an action
but there is ebough action in all four books to supplement a video game…
i think that at the end of making the movies they should seperate the action of all the books into like two or three games…

i love the idea of a Twilight video game. i would definatly 100% buy it. there r some great ideas 4 a game. Okay…a Twilight game. It all depends on the storyline. If your gonna have Bella going to school doing what she does normally idk I’d say no. Think about harry potter he does very little in between sequences. But if you had Bella trying to find out what edward is then go to Edward and do the whole fighting thing, it be pretty cool game, I’d buy it.

Hey, ok I was thinking of the whole Twilight video game and myself I would pay $200 for the game. I’m a huge fan of Twilight and I was thinking of the idea of the creation of a game for it and all I could think of was a fable 2 type game play, where you create your own vampire/werewolf and you choose your path. I think it would be an amazing idea. Im a huge fan of the book series and I have all of the HP video games at home. If they made Twilight into a video game, I could see them making it in an adventure form like the HP games. You could be Bella at the beginning, where you would have to drive to school….find all your classes and blah blah blah. There’s also the action part of it where once she gets to know Edward, you could run around and do all that kinda stuff.
The people on here who think it isn’t a good idea and think it would ruin everything….are so wrong. It would just make the whole series better. Honestly.

See I wouldn’t play a game that was exactly like the movie/book. It’s boring. Like any of the LOTR games or the Harry Potter games. I didn’t even bother with them because you know exactly what’s going to happen. I would rather play a Twilight game that was more like “Star Wars The Old Republic” where you play as your own designed character. You can choose to start off as a vampire or werewolf and choose weather to be good or bad or a human that has her supernatural friends help her solve crimes or something, and ultimately has to choose to be a werewolf/human/vampire in the end.
I could also dig a game (with the same make your own character start) that would be like a “Tomb Raider” or even “Destroy all Humans”.

And u Can either choose u character in the game… Begin with Carlisle turning into vamp… then his way to be a Med and helping ppl trying not to kill them … meeting the Volturies and find Edward and Esme…I mean all the story Very detailed!… If u AGRY with me! Every mission! will have a reward … where u can even unlock mini games.. where u can play baseball with the CUllens!… That’s the Perfect idea of the Game for ME!… Long Game.. All boooks in one Action RPG Adventure… GOOD GOOD voices.. I mean the real voices if they can. AWESOME GRaphics!!! and interact with everything in the game… I mean sleep Bella!… Stay awake if edward find something to do since he can’t sleep.

Well before anyone says anything about me being a guy I have a statement about this subject. I am a true gamer and I believe there is a great possibility for a twilight game if the producers knew what they were doing, I mean it wouldn’t be the first book to movie to game ever made (eg.Harry potter, Van Helsing etc.) I understand the lack of actual action but think about it, both the games I mentioned were overly modified to fit the video game window anyway. Of course it also depends on the genre of the game itself, it could be A game where you have to find things and interact with people as Bella, Jacob, Edward, Carlisle Or one of the other cullins or you could make a game choc full of mini games (including the ever popular Subject of “Baseball With the Cullin’s”)of course i enjoy my idea of an RPG In witch takes place right after Breaking Dawn Where you play as your own character witch will start out as a human(who could act as Bella’s cousin or something)who moves to forks and their decisions as a human would decide if they became a vampire or a werewolf, their powers(as a vampire)could come from their greatest ability as a human, they could also add a new character as a love interest for yours(male or female depending on your gender choice) and finally you could make he decision to be a carnivore or a “vegetarian”, in terms of stuff you could do you could chill with the Cullin’s and the Quileute, Hunt(as vampire or werewolf only), and im sure Stephenie Meyer could think of some plot that would work as a continuation for a game, the possibility’s are endless.

I honestly object the creation of a twilight game. I mean, c’mon a VIDEO GAME, and it already has a movie. Besides, since I’m techically an otaku so I know that the majority of Romance and Action games are normaly RPGs or MMORPGs, but I highly doubt the game will turn out like that. Anyways for all of the people who are wishing for the game to come out for any nintendo systems, (like the Wii or DSi) I don’t think it’ll come out on them, since most of nintendo’s games are rated E-T (CARTOON violence (Hardcore Twilight fans, I said CARTOON VIOLENCE, NOT REALISTC VIOLENCE.). Plus since most of the popular licesnced games are from the original place, a.k.a. Japan, and I highly doubt many people know about Twilight over there. Also, the people who are actually creating the game is an american company.
NOTE TO TWILIGHT FANS: Not to be rude, but, watch your spelling errors. I don’t even feel like changing my mind about my opinion about the whole series. (yes, I’m a Twilight hater)

Well I think they should make the Twilight Saga into a video game because with the Harry Potter Saga the video game had more activitys and stuff to do than the books and films so thats what they could do with Twilight. I think it would be a great idea to make a game being a big twilight fan myself I would definately buy the game and play it.

Lol i think there should be a twilight game. Even if it would be crappy do you know how much money they would get just for making the video game. Because people will buy it out of curiosity? And i dont find it a bad idea to go thru the neighborhood as bella and to choose edward or jacob. And to have a look at what bella sees. And then it could have some story line to where you make a mistake or you make a good choice. It could also has alternative endings. I hope they make one. I dont think it would be a bad idea at all. If they had a person who can create graphics well.

A twilight game probably wouldn’t make a lot of money, seeing how most boys who play video games hate Twilight. But, if they did make one, they could always do one sort of like the Harry Potter: Order of the Pheonix video game. He usually walks around and does tasks, but fights when needed. Plus they made the characters look exactly like the actors.

I believe that they should make a game where u can create your own character like Bella but its mainly you. Also when venturing on in the twilgiht world you can have a choice on choosing edward or jacob as your lover and jsut live in a vampire and werewolf world. I would buy a twilight game like that.

Bring on the Twilight game for PS3!!! I’ll be the first to pre-order! If they make one though there would have to be a few constituencies … #1) 1 game per book, none of this lumping them all together crap
#2) Let us play multiple characters besides just Bella so we can have a snowballs chance at ripping James’ head off and shoving it down his throat
#3) Puzzles! There just aren’t enough puzzle games in the world any more and I don’t mean jigsaw. The Da Vinci code was fantastic in gameplay with a balanced mix between action and brain puzzles … modeling it slightly after the Nancy Drew style of having to explore and interact with scenes while collections items and information to advance in the story.
#4) Keep the story line of the first game closer to the book instead of wild deviation like we saw in the movie
#5) Do a good job, clean graphics, clean story, well thought out and tested to avoid glitches and pointless endeavors
#6) The chance of actually losing … I don’t just mean getting killed by a Vampire here either. The chance of doing other things that would deviate from the story and thus end the game such as pissing Charlie off until he forces Bella to move back in with her mother or pissing Edward off until he wants nothing to do with her. Bella was always on the cusp of making the wrong choices and frequently confused and irritated Edward with her awkward pessimism. That needs to be something we have to avoid rather than blissfully float along in harmony with the story regardless of our choices.
There should never ever be any reason NOT to consider making a game from a successful book/movie combination. It was a smash on paper, a smash on the silver screen … why wouldn’t it be a smash (if done well) on a console?

So they might be making it, but I just can’t see hotw the hell it will attract anyone except hardcore fans to buy it. For one, there’s absolutely no mystery about the Cullens since it’s BLATANTLY stated at the back of the first book that Edward is a vampire. I’ll tell you straight away, I’ve seen toddler computer games that have been more entertaining, creepier and way more mystifying than any clue-collecting Twilight-game ever will be.
It might be fun though to play as Edward and jump about in the forest of Forks - but then they will really have to make the graphics in the game better than the special effects in the movie, and the graphics will have to be really appealing. Still, I can’t see any real potential for this game, not even with possible boss fights and vampirebaseball counted in.

it would be fab if u could..Change into Edward when ever u like && run though the tree’s like the normal film and u could hve like Edward, Bella, Alice, Jasper and etc like a bug TEAM and then when u fight u could change into the charator u want 2 fight wiv like the chronicles of narnia game when u got the 3 people and u get 2 change into them when ur fightin

i think they should totally have a twilight game for every game thingy btw im not that smart so i have no idea what some things r called. k so we should be able to pick our character or create our own and go to the mall, make friends and maybe they could make a game where if sum1 else has it and u have it u could play with them depending on how far away they r and then u havea certain amount of money so u hae to get a job like bella did or u can just be super rich like the cullens. or u could also make ur own clan. and if u pick to be bella or the character u want made if its human u could pick wher u would want that person to live and u could make a packing thing like they kinda did in the golden compass game for the computer. and u would have a time limit and u would have to find the things that r on the list.and then wen she left u could make 1 or 2 mini games for on the air plane. and then wen charlie is driveing her home sh could see sumthing in the forest and charlie would ask her wat wrong and u would hav the disiscion to say nothing i just want to know if i could walk the rest of the way or u could choose to say i just got a bit cold an turn up the heat. and then she could fall asleep wn she gets home and she could have a nightmare about wat she saw in the forest. and then she culd get up to early and then u could choose between telling charlie ur just gonna go look for a job or u can choose to go back to sleep.

I don’t get why people say there would be nothing to do..They could make it sort of like Bully (Everyone should look at videos of that game. It’s really fun) Make a big town to walk/drive around. Stores to go to, and also school. They could make classes that you have to pass and if you don’t, there would be consequences from Charlie. Lmao. Also minigames like baseball would be fun. It would be fun. Sneaking out to see Edward, running away from James until you get to safety, hanging out with your friends at school, home, movies, beach, etc. Avoiding James would be fuuun. And there would be fights to do as well. And parts where you control the vampires for a bit, like in the fights (or you could be Bella and avoid while Edward and everyone fights for you. Could be optional?) Then going to prom <3
And maybe after the game is complete, you could play as a vampire character
I don’t mean every character has their own story line. No no no. But like, you wouldn’t live in Bella’s house. You would live in the Cullen’s and you could choose who to be (Edward, Alice, Jasper, Emet, etc) Have your own room, avoid the sun, still go to school, and keep Bella safe (Like there would be warnings or something saying “Bella is in trouble” then you would have to find her on the map or use some sort of vampire power you possess. Each vampire could find her a different way? :P) etc.
So, this is my idea for a game. I didn’t even explain HALF of it XD I have so many ideas to make a good Twilight game. At least, I think so. Everyone has different opinions on what would make it good.

With the amount of popularity and fans Twilight has gained it would be a sure winner if they made a ps3/wii/xbox game.

What could you do? Press x to swoon over Edward, Y to trip and fall, and then B to say “I wonder what Edwards doing. I need Edward.” .. it doesn’t have much game potential to be perfectly honest. Unless your Bella looking around forks for coins with Edwards face on them or something and if so.. i’d pass. I have Bioshock, Resistance and Fallout to look forward to.

I think the game should be in like different modes.like where you can play as bella or edward or jacob or one of the cullens following the story of the SAGA (yes it is a freaking saga!!! all you h8ers should just get off!!) or you have the choice of also making the game like a fanfiction. where you can play as different characters and have your own adventures. and you could make your own character and be part of the cullen clan or part of the pack or the volturi or just make your own coven! MALETWILIGHTFAN,i think you rock! your idea is awsome ! you could make your own origin and they should have it to where you can connect with your friends and you could like go hunting with them or whatever. but the graphics have to be really advanced. not crappy like some of the first hp PC games.this would have to be really professional looking!i also think that it should be made for all different consoles!

I think its a good idea in practise. I suppose it could be a Role playing game and you could go anywhere in folks. Maybe you could be one of the characters in the books and follow the story or a independent characte where you can choose your race(vampire, human, werewolf) and you can follow the story and affect it. For example you can steal edward and bella goes for jacob instead, or maybe the player steals bella and edward ends up with jacob, that be a twist!lol
