If anyone has ever fell into the liquid vat of crack which is known as Peggle, you know that what I’m about to say means you won’t be sleeping for the next few days…
PopCap has announced that Peggle 2, Peggle Nights, is available now for the PC. A $19.99 download gives you over 60 levels of peg shooting action, and a free demo download is available for the new players out there.
From the press release:
The original Peggle was named to numerous “best of 2007” awards lists, including being named one of the “Top Ten Video Games of 2007” by PC Gamer magazine. Peggle has been downloaded from the web more than 20 million times since its introduction in February 2007, and has spawned dozens of Facebook groups and clubs and hundreds of YouTube videos.
If you have never played Peggle before the casual game is somewhat like Pinball mixed with carnival games and add cracked out fuzzy creatures. The goal in most of the challenges is to fire your ball at the orange pegs and hope you get more when its bouncing all of the board. To beat the level you must clear all of the orange pegs, but most challenges add to that. I have beat all of them except the million score challenge lol.
This game is great but totally addictive! Even Yahtzeecouldn’t resist its addictiveness… Now off to go play more cra..I mean Peggle!! ![]()

Woah, a game Yahtzee can get addicted to? Sounds fun (and slightly terrifying).

I normally dislike these type of games- what I would call “casual” games, in my book- but Peggle is one that I did get to try last year and it was quite addictive and fun.
Looking forward to trying the sequel!
