While I mentioned this in a previous post, I thought it’d be great to cover it in more detail!
Taiwan based airline, Eva Airways, teamed up with Hello Kitty creator and cutesy powerhouse Sanrio in 2005 to produce EvaKitty!

Eva Air repainted an Airbus 330-200 in a complete Hello Kitty and friends scheme. Everything from creating a reservation on the website, to check in and in flight experience is decked out in Hello Kitty.

The aircraft had only a single route from Taipei to Fukuoka, Japan, and a year later, a second livery was released and in 2007 a route to Hong Kong was added.

The Hello Kitty experience was so important that every step of the trip guarantees that you’ll feel like you’re flying into Sanrio land!

Your boarding passes, baggage tickets, flight attendants, and even your inflight meals bear Hello Kitty charm.

Even as you board, you are greeted by Hello Kitty herself dressed as a flight attendant and her boyfriend Dear Daniel is decked out in his captain’s uniform.

Various friends are maintaining the aircraft and assisting passengers, but fear not, they stay on the ground after the plane takes off and trained professionals take over. ^_^

Can’t wait to book the Hello Kitty experience? Visit Eva Air’s Hello Kitty website! You may need a translator.

If I ever boarded that plane, I’d never get off. Ever.

Brit, I told Tommy the other day that when I’m rich, I’m taking the GEN girls on a trip to Japan and we are going on Hello Kitty Airlines. This is when we are rolling in money. So, make sure to just keep that in the back of your heads.
