Riddle me this (yes, I know that’s Batman, not Ghost Rider, but roll with me): Why is Free Comic Book Day so awesome? The “Free Comic” part, of course! Who doesn’t like free stuff? Especially awesome free stuff.
My friends over at ComicNerd.com are holding their first contest in which the top two commenters can win one of two Ghost Rider comic books signed by the co-creator of the series, Gary Friedrich.
The user with the most comments on the site by the end of June will have first pick at either near-mint condition comic: glow-in-the-dark issue #15 (featured left) or issue #50 (right). Both comics come with a certificate of authenticity. The winner in second place will receive the remaining comic book. Simply register and start commenting (that’s commenting, people, not spamming!).
I might be spreading the word about this contest, but watch out for me! I’m a very competitive commenter.

Once you register over at ComicNerd start commenting on the reviews/posts over there, MCJunkie. There is a tracker on the right-hand side of the website that lists top commenters.
It’s officially a ComicNerd contest, not a GEN contest.

I’ve talked to the owner of the site (JC), and he has some great ideas in store for ComicNerd—especially when it comes to contests. So keep an eye out each month!

Hey guys - FINALLY got registered on this site. Was waiting forever to get home today to get access to my outlook.
Thank you so much for covering this whatistechnoagain, and you’re right; every month I plan on doing a contest. With the price of, well everything nowadays it’s awesome to get free stuff
Hopefully if the stars align you’ll see some ComicNerd reviews up on GEN… but we’ll see.

Does the PS3 network allow users to upload their own icons or avatars or whatever is used in the friends list ?
